The past month and a half have been wonderful. This is because I have drastically reduced the sins I commit. I am happier with my life despite the fact that I still have a long way to go.
My major target at the beginning was to establish a streak. A period of time devoid of the unwanted behaviour. I was able to achieve that. The next goal is to consolidate my gains and pray to Allah for steadfastness upon the new path.
I have paused the Lukman 2.0 project. The only aspect still active is the memorisation aspect and with Ramadan some twenty days away, it’s the only one that matters at the moment. I am doing my best to improve my life both worldly and that of the deen, and I would prefer that the pendulum swings more towards the pursuit of the hereafter.
I am profoundly grateful to Allah for making this turnaround of my life possible. I would like to be proud of who I am. I want a situation where there’s not much difference between my public and private lives and I am on my way towards attaining that in sha Allah.
O Allah, guide me to the right path and keep me on the path till I reach Jannah. Ameen.
